The Idle Americans return to Murphy's Irish Pub in Miraflores on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9:30 pm until the wee hours. Who  are The Idle Americans?  Says Lee Piscioneri, “We are a band consisting of three teachers from Colegio Roosevelt(the American School of Lima), including myself, Rob St.Clair and a new member-a hot guitarist/keyboardist named Blake Brown who has just arrived to FDR from California. (Our great sound just got better.) We round out the group with two local musicians Christian Becker and Netto Perez.  We do covers from the 60s, 70s and 80s  ranging from the Stones, Beatles, Clapton and Dylan to Crosby, Stills,  Nash and Floyd, Tom Petty, Badfinger, and U2, and whatever else we happen to be inspired to play. We even have a sitar player! Come check us out. We promise to rock the night away! That’s Saturday, September 22 at Murphy’s Pub, Schell 627, Miraflores. Cover 10 soles.
