Warren Buffett’s real estate firm linked to Peru
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, a business conglomerate of US magnate Warren Buffett, is seeking to enter the Latin American and Caribbean market through alliances with strategic partners. According to Glaudio Prattico, the director general for this region, the first phase of expansion will be focused on Mexico, Peru, Colombia and other countries.
As a franchise, the US firm wants to operate as a real estate agency with a business model focused in three areas: local operation, operation oriented to Americans interested in real estate in Latin America and the Caribbean and those who are looking to buy or sell property in the United States.
According to the Portfolio of Colombia, the company is focusing on medium, medium-high and high residential properties.
