Re: For all the cat-lovers out there..

I don't know for the chifas, but they do eat cats in Cañete. I think it's supposed to be forbidden now but they'll probably do it anyway.

Re: For all the cat-lovers out there..

Hi all! I'm reopening this post after a while. We've set up a new Facebook page and you're welcome to give it a "like": Gatos Kennedy Oficial There are still a lot of kittens left in the park everyday, and we're looking for responsible families to adopt them. You can see some of them on ou...

Re: For all the cat-lovers out there..

Hi Argidd! Sorry I've taken so long to reply, I've been really busy. It's really nice that you want to volunteer, there's always need for help. You can call Natalie at the following number: 997-113037 or send a mail through the facebook page: Gatos Kennedy GVDF. We found both our cats on the street ...

Re: For all the cat-lovers out there..

Hi Argidd! Thanks, and it’s great that you’re considering adopting another cat. I understand your concern, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you for sure whether the cats living in the park for years have leukemia or FIV. However it’s very unlikely that recently abandoned kittens get the disease and us...

For all the cat-lovers out there..

Buenas tardes todos ! A few months ago my boyfriend and I joined the association which takes care of the cats in the Parque Kennedy. Since then we’ve been helping with dispensing food to the cats and providing temporary shelter to recently abandoned kittens, and there is still a lot of work to do. T...

Re: Any tips for getting a driving license?

Hi everyone! I intend to get my driving license in the coming week but I'm a bit worried over the documents I have to bring and the tests themselves (I don't want to be loosing time since I'll have to skip work ). Is it really necessary to show a high school certificate? for one I don't have it with...

Re: Lomas de Lachay

Ok, so it's true that you cannot go there with public transport (or at least, not easily), so we booked a tour with Sierra Verde Peru. It cost us S/.75 per person and includes the Lomas de Lachay and the Castillo de Chancay, with everything except the lunch. We were quite happy with it except that c...

Lomas de Lachay

Hi everyone!
Since I now live in Lima I'm looking for some nice one-day trips around. I've seen that the Lomas de Lachay is a beautiful place to go in winter, when everything is wet and green. Does anybody have an idea of how to get there, or if there is some agency organizing tours there?

Thanks!

Looking for a room in Lima (Miraflores)

Hi everyone! I'm a 24 years old French girl looking for a room or a studio in Lima, starting mid-March. Since I will be working in Miraflores (Avenida La Paz), I'd prefer a place as close to work as possible. I don't mind if the room is furnished or not, as long as it costs under 400$ a month (all i...
