I have a premium Chase account which may have slightly cheaper wire fees. I always transfer about $9k each time. The fee is the same regardless, so might as well go for a large amount.

Nothing special about my BCP account though, so no idea why my fee is less than yours.

Wire transfer fee from Chase in the US is $40, at least it is for me. The fee to receive the wire at BCP in Peru is $20.
