Re: Where to find cheap books?

To All the Bookworms: I've been looking for a place in Lima to buy novels and other books (in Spanish), but every libreria I've visited is very expensive. I have heard people mention finding cheap books at certain shops, but I can't find them. Does anyone know of a good one? I know the quality won'...

Re: Huge increase in cost to apply for Peruvian citizenship

Anyone know the benefits of a Peruvian Passport for a foreigner? Unless you are refugee from a war torn country like Syria, Mali or Afghanistan or some very bad African country, I don't see any benefits. If you have a Peruvian passport and you want to travel abroad then will have to apply for a vis...

Re: Do you think peruvians are very cliquey?

People im Lima can be REALLY cliquey, speacially in certains circuls like top schools or Unies. But it happend everywhere in the world. Its really funny when you approach to those kind of girls and first question they ask you is: in wich school did you study??? next question: in wich uni. do you stu...

Re: Racist Violence against whites (Ecuador Ambassador)

Racist violents against whites???? are you kidding, right?? What happend whit the Ecuatorin Ambbasador does not have any relation whit racism. For me those ladys at the shopping center were wrong at the beginer, but the Ambassador cant response the attack for clear reasons. He should call the seguri...

In concenrning with Velasco i do belive he did what it was necesary, because it was ridiculuos just the 1 or 2 % of the population owned the all land...

Re: Why is it that peruvians don't want to talk about classism?

To understand Peruvian society we must first take account of where they come from their main roots. In my opinion the Peruvian society basically consists of six sources: Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, African and clear the Inca. All this is now part of what is the Peruvian society (there are o...
