Hi guys,
Has anyone done the carnet cancellation tramite recently? Looks like in the new TUPA the SUNAT clearance paper is not listed among the requirements any more. Do they still ask for it or is it just the updated carnet and the bank receipt?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, no more written exam and interview. The tramite is personal and the Peruvian spouse doesn't have to accompany you through the process as before.

None of the Peruvian banks deals with foreigners, well, at least in terms of accounts. Get your Carnet and then you are allowed to open an account at any bank. Does that sound better?
