My wife had our rings made in Peru out of some old gold jewelry.
I was in the states at the time and she/I wasn't sure of my ring size so I mailed her a ring of mine.
Took a gamble that it wouldn't be lost/stolen but it made it there.
Save me some money on having to buy our rings.

What I hate is a noisy bed that squeaks.
When you have a partner with you, it's sounds like dueling bedsprings.

But to me the most important thing is a tidy room.

Nicaragua is not only affordable, but the people are very friendly and not as jaded by tourists as they are in Costa Rica. If I wasn't here, I'd probably be there. Thanks for the info. You might want to consider Ecuador also.

Ecuador always seems to be on people's radar as a good place to live economically.
Stable country with good weather, medical facilities and they use the US dollar as their currency.

Hi,
I married a Peruana in Lima and live in the US but we never bothered with a name change.
We have 2 different names. No big deal to us.
YMMV because everyone is different.
