Re: 30 day limit for carnet applications

A little progress report....as at Friday 25th. After the normal 15 days wait, Migraciones responded and I am due to go in and pick up my carnet on this Monday. I will not get too excited just yet, until I have it in my hand....just in case the buggers put another stone in my way. I am curious to fi...

Re: EARTHQUAKE SURVIVAL KIT

Thanks Windy, Sounds logical. We, the missus & I, live in a rental apartment, ground floor, so a huge tank is not an option...we are on direct connection....but a couple of large San Mateo's would be good. However, we did buy a rather large plastic bin type container, size of a big round rubbis...

I apologize as this post doesn't really "fit" any of the titles; maybe there should be an "FYI" title. Just sharing what I found online: No link but if you've got a lot of stress, anxiety and depression, it goes without saying your life expectancy will be shortened. Ffs that'll ...

Let's try this one. How many guests are you expecting to be driven, daily?

G'day Woodchuck, I am with Scotiabank Peru for 3 months now. So I will tell you that they ALSO charge to receive international transfers. Their standard charge is $24.00 for any amount. Re: Only 90 days allowed to US citizens

This literally just happened to me today as well. This must be a brand new policy. My girlfriend is a Peruvian citizen and we asked the consulate in DC no more than two or three weeks ago about tourist visas. They told us it was six months per year. Migraciones told us today that it’s now only 3 mo...

A litany of things really complicate traffic here, beyond careless driving habits. Besides being ignorant of Spanish, can you legally work in Peru? You need a CE or citizenship.

Back in the day. Before, at Naturalisation and since, because of English documents. Everything has my middle christian name as the maternal.
