Ica to the sierra

Would anyone know if there are buses or colectivos that run from Ica (or Pisco) to Huancavelica or Ayacucho? I think the company Ccorybus and Oropresa might, but of course there isn't a schedule on their websites. Any experience with those companies? Are there collective cars on that route?

But WhatsApp only works for sending messages to other people with WhatsApp installed, right? No one I know back in the states uses that. It doesn't have the popularity back there that it does down here.

So with the invasiones those people don't have to live in the house? Just build it and let it set for so many years? I didn't see any sign of habitation in numerous collections of the huts.

A few days ago (during the day) took the bus from Lima to Trujillo. In many places along the way in the dry desert there were long building-like structures that appeared to maybe be covered in cloth. Does anyone know what these are used for? I was thinking some kind of agriculture but in most places...

I went to Claro on Pizarro in Trujillo and got an answer. And I have to say the young woman who helped me was very persistent in trying to figure the problem out. She spent over half an hour with me. International texting with Claro

I just got prepago service with Claro. Data & domestic calling and domestic texting are fine. Texts I send to/from the USA are not getting through. I am using 1 + area code + number. I had Claro prepago in Colombia two years ago and had no trouble with text to/from the USA then. Anything special...
