I agree, Spizza is very good pizza. Not sure if it's exactly NYC, but it's good nonetheless. You get the classics, as well as gourmet twists, with ingredients like parma ham, arugula, basil, etc. Totally worth trying out :)

There used to be a good one in CLinica Golf in San Isidro. Last time I need my ankle in, I had physio done in Clinica San Borja, on Av, Guardia Civil. They were pretty good and reasonably priced too.

Brujas de Cachiche in Miraflores has a buffet. It's pricey (like 100 soles), includes 2 pisco sours per person and gaseosas. I believe they have (or at least had) 2x1 on Wednesdays.

It's called Jamon Virginia. My mum usually goes to wong in the Ovalo, where there is a separate Braedt module, and asks for it there. If they don;'t; have it, they will bring it in for her. I'm sure the Braedt shop by Vivanda has it though. Just make sure you ask for the jamon entero :)

I highly recommend Cafe Verde - their coffee is brilliant. They roast their own beans every morning :) It's on Santa Cruz, in Miraflores.

I would have to agree with San Antonio - wonderful salads! Il Dolce Capriccio, on Av. Dos de Mayo in Miraflores also make good salads. I also love the salad in Rincon Gaucho, a meat/BBQ restaurant on the road into Barranco from Miraflores. It's so good!!
