I am not currently in Peru but will be moving next year (2017) with my family and we will be living not too far from Pachacamac. I don't know too many expats in the area, but a lot of them spend their summers at the beaches in 'el sur.'

here we're planning to spend $500+ per month on schools for our kids, whereas in the US they would probably go to public schools. Don't forget to compare that to the cost of your property taxes and state income taxes that paid for your kid's public schools... I'm spending $250/month to put two kids...

Why would companies pay a lot of money for telecommuting? Companies can use call centers in India. And those people work for a few dollars a day.
