I booked my tours with the same hotel I mentioned in my previous post. How / where to dispose of large items of rubbish?

Hi.
Title says it all really. I have some things I need to get rid of, like some old broken suitcases. Where can I take them to can I get rid of/recycle them? I´m guessing I can´t put them out with the regular trash? ??
Thanks
