sounds like they are saying hardie backer board and stick built construction because you aint building nothing with strictly sheetrock....

brick and mortar will obviously hold up better regarding earthquakes and normal wear and tear. come on wood n sheetrock vs brick n crete? no question.

why not dry out a few, plant the seeds and grow your own? I even have a steady supply of Pinguita de mono, rocoto, amarillo and panca in the states every summer just bag em up and throw them in the freezer and they last until the next harvest season!

we just go to the local market and stick to a healthy mostly vegetarian diet except I still eat meat the rest of the family refuses to join the fun!

Veggies and fruits at the local market are about as healthy and cheaper than you will find in any chain stores.

We are close to plaza de armas and there is a section of local pet stores including pets of all types in the abancay shopping district which is south of rio rimac and east of abancay starts on the south side of the government offices there. Super cheap and I go there alone often.
