I thought it was self-explanatory but you seem to have taken it the wrong way so I'll expound: In the saying that I (mis)quoted, you play the role of the good person, and the question is whether you carry on the fight or back down from threats. So I'm saying that evil wins if good people like you ba...

My question is is it really any more dangerous than any other major city? I am from Chicago and I work outdoors all over the city. I have seen every neighborhood good and bad there. I'm also from Chicago, and from my perspective it is MUCH more dangerous here. There is a lot more crime in the areas...

Re: Lima: 11 people shot during robberies in 10 days

Seranazgo do not carry guns! Correct, but I've been told that they sometimes team up with police so there could have been an officer with a gun in the car. But almost certainly it was the other car, since I don't think any trained officer would fire shots in a populated area without a clear target ...

There were four shots fired just outside a house in the Chacarilla area a few nights ago while my wife was there. That's a pretty decent area where you wouldn't expect that. Still not sure exactly what happened, but so far the best info we has is that the seranazgo were chasing a car and the people ...

The only way I've heard of someone from the US getting a loan right away without a job is to use a home in the US as collateral, and I'm guessing only certain banks (those with a footprint in the US) do that. The entrance fee at Roosevelt is about $18k, not $7.5K.

The annual tuition is about 50% higher than listed as well.
