50 soles a month for maintenance for a casita & shared pool.
Ours is 62 m2 with no extra land; other options could be as much as 1,000 m2 with a large home.
I would imagine the HOA fees would be more, but not sure.
These are all new builds in the former fruit fields (mostly mandarina).

Expats who have purchased a condo in Huaral?

My wife & I are considering purchasing a condo in Huaral.
The condo offers all the activities of a swimming pool, barbeque area, a jogging path, 24/7 manned security, etc.
The price per m2 is very high but you have to figure in all the amenities.
Any comments or suggestions?

Real estate prices also scare me as indeed the good old days of reasonable prices have long since evaporated.

May I ask what were the fees at BCP for this transfer?
I will be transferring $8,000 in a month or so to Peru from a US Bank.
My wire transfer fee from the US will be $40 but no idea about a bank in Peru.
If there are any better/cheaper ways to do this I am listening.

I believe Peru doesn't make the list is due to:

AirHelp is a business whose services are occasionally needed; I haven't had to use them yet.
They only get involved if the carrier is in the US or Europe.
Had a long delay recently with Latam; they were not able to help me.

I would never purchase movie popcorn as the "butter" is artificial with lots of chemicals.
