Right again. Iquitos do not have a highway. The main reason was because of the negative damage to beautiful National Reserve as Pacaya Samiria and the Eco-system

IMHO, Iquitos should keep it actual mean of transportation, through navigable rivers

High mountains at 5,000 meters over the sea level and then go down to 3,000 meters and the go up again to 4,000 and then go down ! .
