Well, you can leave without canceling it. But getting a new one when you come back becomes a hassle. I would suggest do it right. You can get a paper saying your tax and everything is paid and up to date. That way you can leave the country no problems. If you come back within 6 months then your carnet is still valid. You won't get an apartment in Lima for $300 a month. Difficult to even get a room for that nowadays. That's the reality I'm afraid.

I know someone that had S/. 2000+ of debt on a credit card that he hadn't made a payment of for months... the bank called him and offered to 'wipe the slate clean' if he'd pay S/. 900 by the end of the month. He couldn't, so he didn't. But it was a good offer from BCP!

Domino's is the worse pizza I ever had. I would never waste another centimo at that place.

Subways though is always great but I am surprised it is the same price as the UK and there are never any vouchers or offers (apart from the sub of the day).
