Realtor recommendation. Jesus Maria, LIma.

Postby cwcdavid » Mon Dec 03, 2018 6:05 am

Am thinking of getting rid of my apartment in JM.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an agent/realtor who could be trusted to just leave with the keys and find a buyer after I have left the country?

Here in the UK there are companies who will make a low offer for a quick easy sale [often 10-20% under what could be achieved with a regular sales process]. Does that exist in Lima? I am not bothered about quick but the easy part would be good. Am not comfortable having people poke round the place I am staying otherwise I would happily show it myself.

Flat is 100m2 plus 30m2 terrace and 10m2 maids room in a 10 year old small building near the main square and market in Jesus Maria but is also 5th floor walk up so odd one. Ideas?

Not decided or even decided whether to sell.
Answer will be most I can get with minimal stress/hassle. I suspect theoretical market value is 100-150 us [based on 20mins looking at elcommercio listings] or maybe more or maybe less or maybe that's a difficult sale. Really don't know and theoreticals don't buy a lot :)

At least speaking to a realtor/agent would give me an idea how much I can expect. Has anyone sold through an ad/contacts made here?
