Music Playing in Lima

Postby davidinsuacao » Mon Nov 14, 2011 9:11 pm

Hi,
I'm a percussionist from England and looking to meet some people to play music with the aim of getting a few gigs also. I'm here until April and I have a few instruments with me, including an electric vibraphone, so willing to try anything new and interesting. I have experience in many styles of music so would be great to hear from some people.

Thanks
David

There's a big group of people that get together every Sunday evening from about 6.30 in Parque Maria Reiche, block 6 of Malecon de la Marina. There are some tribal drum bangings, didgerydoo's and some beats of various musical instruments going on there until around 11pm. You might make some contacts. Could be fun to go along.

Hey, How's it going? I play guitar, nothing fantastic, but I play. Also know a few people who play some other instruments. I'd love to gig in Lima, and I've got lots of time on my hands these days. What kind of music are you into, what are you thinking? if nothing else, getting together to jam would be cool.

Also a guitar player.

A jam would be fun!
