Located in CORPAC, SAN ISIDRO

My dentist (and friend) is Valeria Villaran. She's experienced and trustworthy. Her English is perfect and more importantly, her office is nice and clean with new instruments. It's like being in a US dentist office which for me is super important. I've had two crowns replaced, general cleaning and whitening done with her. She's also great about being honest and telling you what is priority to get fixed and what can wait until later.

Her details:

Tel: 2267709
Cel: 989264134
Address Los Petirrojos 434, Corpac, San Isidro.

Definitely Perudental.com are the best. Amazing new clinic, great doctors, 3D cad cam crowns and other stuff all in just one appointment. No messing about and get the job done quick. That's what I like.

I went to Peru Dental, and they wanted to charge me over a $1000 for work I didn't need. And the dentist never even looked at my mouth, only at pictures.

I ended up going to http://www.odontodigital.com, and had a great experience there. He practiced in the states for many years, so he speaks fluent English.

Good luck! Dental pain is the worst.

I highly recommend Dra. Sylvia Pflucker. Her office is at 575 Av. Pardo office 201 in Miraflores. Her facility is modern and comfortable. She specializes in cosmetic dentistry, but offers a full service practice. She can be contacted through her website - http://www.smilesperu.com or calling at 242 2152.

Kirby. You recommend her because you are married to her... or are at least on the website under the names of the workers. Your posts should be removed.

Is Kirby235, the same as:

http://www.smilesperu.com/
"Mr. Kirby Warms is a US citizen resident in Peru. He is a partner in Smiles Peru and serves as Smiles Peru's business manager and manager of public relations for dental tourism. Mr. Warms focuses on assisting Smiles Peru’s foreign clientele."

If yes, then his post should indeed be removed!

wait...help me understand.

why is this guy not allowed to recommend a business he works at? Who are these people who are freaking out about this?

You think its better to recommend a dentist you saw one time and had one experience with, or a place and people you work with every day? lighten up people.

Some guy asked a question, he gave his opinion. Sometimes this place is a joke.

And to make the complainers even more upset-- i am good friends with a lot of recent graduates from dental school here, some of which speak perfect English. If you are looking to save a lot of money with good quality care, I can put you in touch with a few that have their own new offices open in Lima. Although, of course, since I actually KNOW these people someone might have a problem with that.

RollTide: knowing dentists who are your friends doesn't mean that they are actually any good. And the last thing you want is a newby prodding around your mouth and making mistakes. And if they are recent graduates, probably they have had little hands on experience in a clinic with real patients. Generlization, yes. My opinion is to go with an experienced dentists who has good recommendations from others who are not family or friends, but who are real patients. That's all.

RollTide: I think that you miss something essential in this case.

Of course someone is allowed to recommend the business he works at. Although I don't know whether the Forum Rules allow "advertising" in this way.
He should have said straightforward something like: I'm working with this and this company and from that persepctive I can recommend.....

But the fact is that he presents himself not as a representative of this company (and note that he is also responsible for Public Relations), but as a neutral forum member just like you and me, with no other interest than sharing experiences and knowledge with other members.
Hiding his personal/company interest to make this recommendation.

And still from the assumption that Kirby 235 is the same as Kirby Warms of SmilesPeru.

I spent some time searching online for a dentist in Miraflores, Lima. I normally live in Australia, but was living in Lima for 6 months. I found Dr. Cueva- odontodigital - through several online reviews. I was so pleased with my visit. The office is clean and professional. We had an initial consultacion and after looking through my x-ray he emailed me a detailet treatment plan. During the consultación he Took Photos of the areas on my teeth that needed word and explained in detail what was going to be done. I like to ask a lot of questions. I never felt rushed or misinformed when speaking with Dr. Cueva. He was very patient and took the time to make sure i understood the information he was telling me. I felt very confortable throughout my visits. Would recommend. Dr. Cueva was very thorough and is a dentist you can trust. My teeth feel great. www.odontodigital.com, cel phone : 991216060

The dentist that I take my family to and I highly recommend is Lilian Demartini at Dental Design Clinic In Miraflores. Benavides 1579 # 202 phone : 647-2187

She and her husband Philip , run a very nice, modern clinic, geared towards the expat community. They do all types of dentistry including whitening and other cosmetic procedures.

Lilian is amazing with children and I kid you not my 3 year old son, after his first ever dental visit, asks to go to see her occasionally.

Can't go wrong here.

I went to PeruDental and had work done - mostly old metal fillings replaced, a couple of root canals and an implant. All four dentists who treated me spoke perfect English, everything about the experience was professional, and I had an overall great experience. Did I mention that it was completely pain free?

English:

Hello, I hope you help me to find a dental implant clinic in Lima with fair prices. Unfortunately for more than 1 month I lost 2 of my teeth, the dentist who attended me indicated that I need an implant, however the price that charges me I consider very high $ 2000 per implant.

Any ideas?

Please refrain from answering the owners of clinics, I would like the contribution of the real members of the forum.

Gracias / Thanks.
