Where to find cheap books?

Postby aascott2 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 2:49 pm

To All the Bookworms:

I've been looking for a place in Lima to buy novels and other books (in Spanish), but every libreria I've visited is very expensive. I have heard people mention finding cheap books at certain shops, but I can't find them. Does anyone know of a good one? I know the quality won't be as good, but as long as they're readable, I'm happy. Anywhere in Lima will be ok, but in Miraflores, San Borja or La Molina would be superb!

Thanks so much!

It's the hard one. Books in Lima are very expensive and no variety.
My name is Fortunata Carhuapoma, pies de plomo. I'm a modest serrano girl in polleras and alpargatas.

Hey there, you can find very cheap books, good quality and variaty in Jiron Quila at Lima down town, close to Plaza San Martin, its very easy to find the place, and even if you ask someone where it is, they are going to tell for sure. That área is save so no worries about that.

saludos.
