bank transactions after cancelling the carnet

Postby nitw.shobhit » Sun Feb 21, 2016 6:53 pm

Hi Guys. I am leaving from Peru in a few days and I wanna get my carnet de extranjeria cancelled before moving out. I understand the process and I know that we are given 10 days after the cancellation to leave the country.
My question is, as they ll take away the carnet, can we do bank transactions after that? transfer money etc? thanks.

Before cancelling go to a notary and make a legalized copy of it. It should work for you in the bank. This was actually something I saw on the boards probably from Alan which if you go from a carnet to a dni but still have property or accounts linked to your carnet you need to keep a legalized copy of it.
