Prórroga de Residencia Online Appointments

Postby Danny55 » Thu Mar 16, 2017 7:43 am

Hi

Has anybody recently booked their appointment online to do the tramite 'Prórroga de Residencia'?
How long from making the appointment online until you can get the appointment?

Thanks
Dan

That option will come up when you actually go through the process. Likewise, you do not have to accept the first option that comes up and you can look for other times and dates.

Thanks - I guess I was trying to get a feel for how far out I need to get the appointment.
I am only having to consider this because my Citizenship tramite is taking forever despite being in the final stage. Ideally I will get granted citizenship before my prorroga is due - but it is starting to get tight now.

A quick but important update on this.

1) The Online system for the appointment is flexible enough.
2) IF YOU ARE MARRIED TO A PERUVIAN AND YOU ARE DOING THE PRORROGA FAMILIAR - YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY THE $50, ONLY THE 25.6 SOLES. EVEN THOUGH THE MIGRACIONES WEBSITE TELLS YOU THAT YOU NEED TO PAY THIS. My bolete was returned and I was told as I was married to a Peruvian I should go claim a refund - which I did.
