Please provide an update on the cost of health insurance in Lima area for a couple over 55 years and do you recommend just general health insurance or insurance that is associated with a single health care facility? Do typical policies cover all the cost or is it usually a "co pay" system. Thanks for the information.........

We are a little younger than you and pay $2000 per year for the two of us. It offers coverage at a range of clinics, though none at the top-of-the-line. No international coverage and a small copay with every visit or procedure. I can recommend my broker. He is really attentive. Drop me a PM if you would like his details.

Once you are 62+ years old, the rates get very expensive.
I go back to the U.S. if I need expensive medical care.
Sure glad I have Medicare coverage.
