Nice quiet paved street with plenty of space between the neighbors. Right! Let's at least figure out how to get 24hr running water first in this high rainfall environment before asking for $70,000 dollars. It must come with a golden toilet or something.

The advert says it has running water and electricity. And 400 meters for 70,000 works out to $175 per meter... and they said offers... Cheap compared to Lima, that's for sure. Does the price of this property reflect what properties actually go for there?

I am not familiar with the prices in this area.
I purchased 2 cottages (of brick/cement materials) in Huaral for $350 a square meter.
I received a better price as I purchased 2 cottages.
But I have plenty of water (we don't pay for this), private pool, kids play area, 24/7 manned security.
I believe I received a good deal.

In Peru we may find good deals, but also non-sense sellers . Both are part of the market

The asking price sometimes is ridiculous nonsense, but others it is a good deal.

So we have to be prepared to see both scenarios at the same time, even in the same place
