Renting a good used car?

Postby woodchuck » Mon Jan 06, 2020 5:29 pm

Is it possible to rent a good USED car in Peru similar to the options available in the US?
What are the best companies & ones to stay away from?
What should I expect to pay for a 30-day rental?
Happy New Year 2020 & best wishes.

I have not heard of that option here (not to say it doesn't exist though). But, an option to consider is to ask taxi drivers in Huaral, since many of them rent their car by day and can put you in touch with owners who might rent by month (they might be quite happy to do so, since their other option is to rent to taxi drivers who drive the heck out of the vehicle).

Haven't all rental "cars" been "USED"?
