Postby Deny » Thu Jul 10, 2008 9:45 am

We have started the preparations for the Event-of-the-Year!! Noche de Arte 2008!! and we would like you to be a part of it!!

This year will be the 39th year and we hope to have the most spectacular event ever. It will be held at the Puericultorio Perez Aranibar in Magdalena del Mar from October 3rd to October 5th and we need all the help we can get to reach our goals once again.

We are looking for volunteers like you who can help out with the huge preparation of this mega event!! It's a unique opportunity to help the children in Perú, get closer to art and meet new people!!

If you want to be part of our team of volunteers send us a brief description of yourself and abilities via email. We have lots of tasks, jobs and fun to choose from!!

Write to us at: [email protected]. For more information, check out our website:www.nochedearte.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sure...they'll be doing everything..haha...the event will be held at Puericultorio...the orphanage here in Lima, and we need to paint it, then we need to receive the art work, over 700 pieces, then we need to set up the place, then we have to be there during the 3 nights of the event controling everything, from the entrance to the catering to the security, etc...we give each person a task and they are resposible of carring it out, we work with over 80 volunteers, it's really fun, you meet tons of people, learn a lot and when the event is over all the sales money obtained goes to charity to help poor children, it's really an incredible experience, this is my second year doing it.
