Uyuni Salt Flats

Postby sanbartoloian » Mon May 17, 2010 2:37 pm

This past year my trip to Bolivia was rained out. I don't have much sympathy for myself as the countries suffered from the rain and the trip was trivial in comparison. This year, I want to try again. If you have any tips, the plan is to drive from Lima. Is this a bad idea?

As in take your own car? Why on earth would you want to? It's probably cheaper to go by bus, not to mention that way you won't have to drive for two days straight to get there and again to get back.
