I was going to try it out but got cold feet when they said they would charge my card if I was late. I did not want to take a chance so popped over to Cieneguilla for dinner instead:

It´s actually pretty amazing how large they can breed cuys nowadays. They are the size of a rabbit.

I have never tried cuy... And honestly have no plans to do it in the future. :?

I actually saw a cuy in Huanuco the other day and I was convinced it was a small dog or a cat. It was sooooo big. Only after closer inspection I was convinced it was some sort of super cuy. I wonder what animals they cross-breed these mega critters with?
