fake STARBUCKS

How can we be sure that the places like Starbucks, McDonalds, Pizza Hut are real and not fake?

In Tarapoto there's a hamburgerjoint that uses the McDonalds sign but isn't a real McDonalds.

When I am in Lima, I eat often at Chillis (the S./15 special) and at the Mac. They are good but are they real?

You can either check the website like http://www.starbucks.com.pe or http://www.mcdonalds.com.pe/ or alternatively you can check the bathroom. If you can't eat off the toilet seat, it probably isn't legit. Kidding about the bathroom.

Nothing new about this. When I was in Korea many years ago, one of my favorite places to eat was "Kantuck Chicken".

In that case, Chillis at Plaza San Miguel isn't legit.

But TGIFridays surely is legit.

That Burger King is fabulous. It would be almost worth a trip to Chimbote to have the chance to eat there.
