I got goosebumps watching a clip of the Parada Militar yesterday with PPK and members of the military dancing traditional huayno. The sun even came out on a winter day just for the occasion.

Back to the topic, recommend me a good huayno video/artist...I believe this is an underrated genre which I'm just now discovering.

Victmanu you outdid yourself as always, making me tear up wanting to blow off work and fly to Peru in short order. May I suggest you consider becoming a Marca Peru ambassador?

Thank you for starting this topic. Yes, we do like to kick back older school on rock. I would suggest to listen spotify to keep up to date with music or listen doble 9 on the radio but I think this last one have more hipster music which I still cant clasify under a category. I love music, specially English and Spanish rock, but the most variety of great bands were back in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, after these you will find some good groups but not a huge variety (Smashing pumpkins, Foo fighters.. can't remember any other).
I have lived outside Peru for 7 years and many days regreted not to be here because missed turning the radio on while driving and just listened any random old song that would take you back 10, 20 years ago... so appreciate a little while it last ☺.

You are welcome. I listen to a lot of Peruvian and Latin music in general so I might as well share it with you guys :)
