National and local investors have shown interest in the construction of new and modern hotels in the seaside resort of Pimentel, announced José Gonzales, Mayor of this Chiclayo district. He also added that currently there is a national company that is moving forward with the formalities of a first-class hotel.

"It will be a four star hotel, so I have expressed them and will be located in the rural area of Pimentel and they have requested the planning parameters for its construction. Investment that will is strong and would exceed US $10 billion,"said the Mayor of Pimentel in dialogue with the Andean Agency.

Gonzales stressed that there is also the application of authorizations for the construction and implementation of establishments of accommodation of other two businessmen interested in investing in this Northern resort. In addition, it also highlighted that with the approval and implementation of urban allotments of important real estate groups, Pimentel district is estimated at about 3,000 new contributors that they are already contributing in this area.

Pimentel has currently six hotels, of which one is capable, belonging to the school of hotel management of the University of Sipan; as well as other establishments of lodging of medium coverage.
