Agave Nectar

Postby argidd » Mon Oct 28, 2013 3:05 pm

I am trying to find agave nectar, I know agave is also grown in Peru, but I have never seen it marketed.
Most of my Peruvian friends limit themselves to what they find at the supermarket, so that's lost hope for info.
If any of you know where I can buy some, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Sounds like something that's probably being snapped up by the Mexicans, and turned into Tequila

Haha, yes, Agave Azul is also used for tequila. But what I'm looking for is the syrup, non fermented, non alcoholic. It is a subtitute to sugar/honey. The diference with stevia is that it comes in a syrup and it is sweet but less sweet than honey. It's good for baking too.
