This one is the restaurant where the locals like to go. This kind of eatery are called picanterias, but do not blame on me if You get the Pachacutec revenge.

This restaurant serve cuy and trout and will be healthier than the others but a lil bit expensive for locals is this one .

My suggestion is to go to this cafe and ask the australian owner Tammy who live in Cusco for more than a decade where You can eat cuy, trucha and alpaca steak and survive the experience.
