Bobby for the small joint Wong have some nice Chilean, Argentina and Peruvian cuts, pricey at about 50 /S a kilo, but if you are early and want the larger joint Pop in to the agricultural college shop in Ave La Molina or better still the Santa Rosa Galleria two building up from Metro in Avenue La Molina next to the intersection with Javier Prado. The First Butcher on the right of the central stands as you enter. Fantastic tender joints cut to your taste. Be warned they only sell one fore and rear quarter a day and it is fresh. The prices are great. While you are there try the Greengrocers fresh veg, who will do all the preparation ready for washing and cooking for one sole. If you want chicken go to the third stand on the left as you enter. Right price and prepared for you.

I have purchased prime rib in mercado #1 surquillo and cooked it myself. You just have to explain to them the cut of beef.

The roast beef was excellent. I let it marinate for two days before roasting it in my gas oven.
Thank you
