I've been debating about whether or not to get a fancy costume. Potential I'll probably just put a potato in my pants and go as a dictator.

I saw stores for halloween costumes in a commercial center in Miraflores located on calle Shell and calle Diagonal where is located Teatro Julieta.

I really hope Halloween is a thing here. I just got here in June and missing out on Halloween would be sad.

Halloween, or La Noche de las Brujas, is not a very big deal in Latin America, Google find stores selling candy and things all over the place. There are people here that celebrate it but it's not as big as in the United States. Having said that you are to be able to find someone that celebrates it. Maybe you could put together a part of yourself and invite some people off of these forums.
