Best Bath Soap?

Postby woodchuck » Mon Mar 27, 2017 12:41 pm

I am not happy with the selections of bath soaps in Lima.
I really enjoyed "old-formula" Zest from the US; but the new version available here is not as good IMO.
I am seeking a bath soap that:

* Rinses clean/no residue
* Good deodorant protection for the hot/humid days.
Thanks for an comments/suggestions.

Hemp soap is the best.
Here's a good one that you can order from Amazon...

Thanks for the suggestion.
People tell me it is very expensive to ship items to Peru with Amazon.
What about a "lufa" product, any ideas?
Best wishes & thanks.

It grows naturally in the jungle of Quillabamba.
If you're anywhere near there, you could get your own
Or buy from the company linked below for 15 soles.

Thanks Formidable 1; a bit "scary" of a user name!

I checked out the site you provided and have some issues:
* Buying a product like the loofah is confusing & difficult, for me anyway.
* You have to use PayPal & pay in "GBP"/British pounds (as this is where the owners live part-time); my account is only in dollars. How would I make the conversion?

Do you think they have a good natural hemp soap also; I have emailed them.
I have had people tell me it is expensive to do business with Amazon; are any of these products available in Lima?
Thanks for your kind help & best wishes.

PayPal will do any needed currency conversions automatically.

The company has a contact page on their website. Looks like they're based in Cusco. Maybe if you ask them they can send it by courier or use a bus company's cargo service.

I'm looking for a place that sells natural, unscented or naturally scented deodorant. Mine are getting close to running out and I haven't seen any Tom's of Maine like natural products I could replace them with. All I see are heavily scented products for teenaged boys and antiperspirants - which I don't like since sweating is our bodies way of cooling off so I'm not in favor of stopping that natural process
