Cosmetic Surgery in Peru

Postby sherride » Sun Feb 24, 2013 9:55 am

Can anyone recommend a reputable cosmetic surgeon? I would like a procedure done while in Peru. Am in Arequipa, but Lima seems a better place for this work? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure about Lima, but the Cusco medical specialists used to do a lot of trepanning. It certainly changed the appearance of the patients.

But I don't know if that is the "look" you want.

What is "trepanning"; am I missing something in this phrase?

Might be quicker if you just "google" it.

I have made the mistake of not seeing that the former post was severely "OFF TOPIC" & deserved a laugh.
I am seriously considering minor cosmetic surgery & at this time - received no guidance herein.

PS - any one with reputable info, can contact me by PM or personal email or phone...

If you're ever in Ica, check out the Museo Regional de Ica for some good trepanning examples.

Look up the Plastic Surgeon who did work on Miss World (Peru).

Cesar Morillas, one of Peru’s most sought-after plastic surgeons, did give her a nose job and breast augmentation in February 2004

Just looking to get a minor - TOUCH UP, FACIALLY...
Any one had any experiences that they can share; especially as to the prices?
I have read that Panama & Columbia - have excellent medical tourist reputaions & fair pricing.

Philip
PS - I don't feel I would need a "boob" job at this time - HA, HA!!! Good info - thanks.

Chuck,

Have you had personal experiences in Columbia with medical procedures?
Would you rule out Peru for same?

Be good,
Philip
PS - Panama seems to be an excellent referred place for cosmetic dentistry...

For what it's worth, Thailand is the Number 1 destination in the world for Medical Tourism.

There are too many cases of bad medical practice. It is not safe to recommend any plastic surgeon.

In any ELECTIVE MEDICAL PROCEDURE, there are RISKS; one has to wiegh the REWARDS of same.
The science of medicine will never be 100% risk-free; but I make my informed decisions on REFERRALS!
I would like to stay as close to Peru as possible for any procedures; maybe combine with a vacation.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Philip

A few years back I had eye lid surgery done in Santa Fe, Argentina with excellent results. Also had a facelift done in Tunisia also with excellent results.

For a cosmetic surgeon and other recommended doctors in Lima that speak English, I run this website which includes doctors in dermatology, plastic/cosmetic surgery, dentistry, eye treatments and others, too. Feel free to browse this site and drop me a line with any questions:
