I think it was around 80 people. $4,000 is what I paid out of pocket, but I believe my in-laws contributed a certain amount as well.

My wedding was around $4,000 if I remember correctly. Included the rental of, what is considered by Peruvian standards, a mansion, food, music, large tent, waiters and dance floor.

Your best chances are with the Tacna - Arica crossing (Peru - Chile). It is safe, clean and organized. Ecuador crossing is the opposite of those 3 adjectives.

Because on my passport it just has the first letter of my middle name, and on my CE it had the middle name spelled out. I had the same problem when I got married.

I showed up with all my paperwork, made all my payments and they told me my name on my passport and CE didn't match. They had no solution except to get a new passport, new CE and start over. I said f@# it and stayed with the CE.

I am in the same boat. I have my CE and I am married to a Peruvian. She was able to get a tourist visa TWICE during my 5 years in Peru, until we finally moved to the States and she applied for residency.

We had no issues what-so-ever.

If you are going into the left side entry doors you must have an appointment. Any US citizen should be able to get into the right side entry doors without an appointment. I made my appointments by telephone.

I have never had any of the issues mentioned above. Maybe I am the exception?

Yes there are a few, but can only describe two coasters right now. From Park Kennedy you can take either an all white with 2 blue stripes one, or an all dark green with red stripe bus.
