from what i've read it's the investors visa you need to have a 25$k deposit, but a business visa which they issue for 90 days doesn't need that deposit.

many thanks :) i got that info from digemin, here to be exact http://www.digemin.gob.pe/servicios_inmigracion_carne_extranjeria.html a further question, once i get my CE to be able to work do i need to apply for anything else? or just use the services of a contador to sort out my taxes etc etc thanks

hi again :) ok so looking at the CE requirements i`m a little confused as to whether i should be paying 200$ or 300$ ? also point number 4 says a valid CE how do i have one if i'm on a tourist visa requesting a CE? also the point about interpol, it says for people who came in with a residents visa? ...

A further question....


if my wife put the money in to her account and transferred it to me, for the meantime until i have my CE, she'll declare it as income so it wouldn't be a problem then would it?

yeah my only stumbling block on getting the CE on my upcoming visit is the 20 days for returning to interpol, as i'm only there for 10 days

i`ll have to try and plan a return trip to stay for longer, unless i can give a lawyer authorisation to do it for me?

ok so now i'm worried about this account closing problem. I have an acount in hsbc opened with my passport in april, not had any letters. I won't be moving to peru until next year but have a property in ica which is sold and being completed next week! Can i add my wife's dni to the account? I don't ...

i got the stamp in my passport to sign contracts the last time i was in peru, i didn't have any form about taxes, the guys at the airport saw the stamp and didn't say anything!

If ollanta gets in will i have a problem with taking money out? i've sold a house in ica which i'll be completing in june, i did want to remove the bulk from the country, i guess if i can't transfer it out i can withdraw it in cash can't i?

what is the danger with ollanta getting in?

Excuse me if i add on some questions to this thread as i'm in a similar position... I usually deal with cash and would have been placing cash into my peruvian account, if i travel to peru on a bimonthly basis and say deposit 4 -5k each time are they going to be asking me where i got the money from a...
