Re: Help with Carnet de Extranjeria

Hello, Did you get an answer to your questions. I am looking to get the rentista visa, and would like to find a lawyer (good but inexpensive) to help me with the process. Do you have any experience with this? Thank you. G'day Donadpree, Below is a copy of one of my earlier postings about protracted...

Re: Interpol still needed for CE? And bank questions.

"My visit to Peru will be short, not more than 2 months so I was wondering if I could make the CE on time." Sorry for a dumb question...but given that you are only visiting for 2 months, why not just come in on a tourist visa for that time? It'll take longer than 2 months to get another C...

Re: Interpol still needed for CE? And bank questions.

For Interbank you need a CE to logon. I had my CE DC swiped two months ago and even after I got a new card, I could not get online until I showed them my new CE and they flipped a switch. What do you mean with your CE DC Swiped? I have no problem login in with CE number the problem is that I can't ...

Interpol still needed for CE? And bank questions.

Hi, my wife is Peruvian and I had CE before but because we moved abroad for some time my CE expired, now, next year we will be visiting and I would like to make CE again. I was checking on the website for the requirements and I can't find Interpol anymore, but I find that they ask for a affidavit or...

Re: The need to cancel your Carnet before leaving Peru?

I was at migrations in Brena today doing my Exoneraciòn de la tasa anual de extranjería, it took about an hour but I got the sticker put onto my Carnet there and then :D I also enquired about me leaving Peru in June without having to cancel my Carnet, I told them I possibly would return to Peru in ...

Re: Permit needed to leave Peru with CE?

I was looking around and found
https://www.migraciones.gob.pe/index.ph ... efinitiva/

Is this really needed? My plane tkt is for 3 months, and that doesn't exceed the 183 days for the automatic cancellation, do I need to do the whole thing?

Hi, I'm planning on leaving Peru with wife and kids for some time, more than a year. My wife is Peruvian and I have CE married with Peruvian, and today it hits me that I saw somewhere that a permit is needed to leave the country when you have a CE? Kelly thanks for your reply. Seen your link, one question though: what this means? · Copy of passport or identity document that has been "legalized" by the Peruvian Consulate and the Ministry of Foreign Relations or its Consular representative in Peru or authenticated by the Peruvian Gener...

Do I need both? 1 is enough? which one?

Re: Working on Peru

When sending and receiving, DO NOT use no name money transfer services. Stick to MoneyGram and Western Union. If you must use Xoom, only use it in a way that involves bank-bank transfer and no cash payouts as I have met people who have had big problems using Xoom. There are a few money transfer ser...

I'm about to go to Peru. Is that 650 soles or u$s? and either case, how did you found that house?

Thanks!

Working on Peru

Hi, I'm new on this board. My wife is Peruvian and we are planning to go to live to Peru. I work from home doing some programming stuff (web mostly) and get paid via WU, Xoom on MoneyGram. My question is if I get a resident visa (not very sure) and a CE if I can do this without having any problems? ...
