Does anyone know if it states anything at all about them enforcing the 6 month gap required to stay out after already getting a 6 month visa? Also, is anything going to change for th...

Yea we stayed at Hotel Diego De Almagro, was about s/300 per night. And yes we did take a taxi over the border, wasnt too much, but cant remember exactly.

We stayed on the beach, dont remember where... Arica wasnt really anything special. I was overstayed by a year or so, coming b...
Ok, a while back I overstayed, almost a year. Anyway, left came back in, got the salido de excesso stamp, no big deal. Ive been out of Peru in a neighboring country for about 7 months or so. (im a resident here so no big deal, also my passport is a US passport) Now, In march I have to renew my passp...
FDih - The most dangerous road in the world is in Bolivia, it does not go to Peru, its only driven by a handful of truckers and biking outfits, (ive been on it) he would never be on a bus on that road.
I have from La Paz to Cusco in the past.. pretty average, nice scenery, boring... not much to say really. I would suggest just flying though. - Cruz del Sur is the most common bus company, but any is fine really.
danjaker, what a wonderful project! I wish you all the best. I'm not financially in a position to be able to assist, but I do run an editing service and have experience with editing novels. I'd be happy to volunteer my services to help make this happen, if you're interested. Best of luck!! Thank yo...
Hi, I am trying my best around the net to seek funding for a book I want to publish. I wanted to start a kickstarter but don't have enough contacts on social media. I live in South America, (currently not in Peru, but I was recently living in Lima for several years) and have lived here for almost 10...
WOW! $100 @ month!! Would you be kind enough to PM me and tell me the details. Thanks I thought chi chi had a vivid imagination. If such places do exist, I dread to think what state they'd be in and you certainly won't get a receipt. You'd probably stand more chance going in search of El Dorado. An...

Interesting, I brought 3 computers, a bunch of silver, some gold, other cash. All kinds of things, was obvious I was moving there, and was only on a tourist visa, no one said anything, I have done that for years too.

When I left I gave it to a friend, but there are many like it, like I said, walk the streets and ask the local security that hang around, they will know... because these places do not advertise anywhere.
Ask local security guards around surco or anywhere else, they know of cheap places to rent, last I was paying was $100 per month, all included. Anyone involved in renting to foreigners is overpriced.
I can help you get in contact with some employers, but dont expect a great job, people look for years in Lima, its not easy.. send me a message if your interested.
How long do you think itll take to get to the airport from surco, from very close to the militar airport in surco? In the morning during a weekday? Friday, when the flight leaves about 1030am or so.
lol - I was interested when I saw the title, but then realized the asking price was way too high, even for down here. Cut it in half, then you may possibly get an offer from someone, maybe.
Is anyone familiar with the process of flying pets internationally? I have two lion head rabbits and german shepherd that I would like to bring with me to the United States. I got in touch with a company here in Lima that does all the paperwork and shipping called PetWings. They estimated that flyi...
It does depend on the airline, like I said, just get a cheap $15 bus ticket out of the country, all you need is proof of onward travel, worked for me in the past.
Ive never been asked here, nor anywhere else for that matter, and Ive had one ways all over the world. If you are strung out about it though, go to cruz del surs website and buy a cheap ticket from mancora to ecuador or something like that and print it out, thats all.
Just come, no need to go to an embassy, when you land ask for 183 days, thats all. If they give you less, cross the border and come back in. Ive been here two years, only crossed the border twice.
