Kefir and/or kombucha starter cultures in Lima

Hi, does any one have any kefir grains or a kombucha baby SCOBY that I could have or buy? Or, where I can find theses cultures? Some Peruvian friends back in the States told me that they are readily available in the "barrio chino" but when I asked my in-laws, they didn't seem to be so sure...

Check out Colegio Euroamericano. It is a bilingual, IB World school, but not as pricey as some of the others, ie Roosevelt, Markham, Newton, etc. Also, I don't think their waiting list is as long as many other schools, since they are located in Pachacamac, outside of Lima, but there is transportatio...

Please update this post with your birth experience. I am moving to Peru, and have been concerned about not getting my preferred birth experience should I become pregnant again. I have had 3 home births, and would not be ok with a "normal" hospital birth!
