Travel in/out of the lockdown states without a special permission is not permitted. If you do not have an urgent reason to go to Huanuco than I suggest you postpone until the lockdown has been lifted.

Transferwise works has great ROE and works with Soles. AZIMO is also excellent but only works with Interbank. Worldremit is also supposedly good and cheap.

Quick heads-up for people departing with an international flight (most leave at night). The time it takes you to get through immigration and customs on week days is 45 to 90 minutes. Apparently it takes even longer during weekends.

People from Huanuco have a reputation of being rude, disrespectful and unfriendly. Unfortunately, this is correct. The behaviour can be seem in all parts of daily life in Huanuco: traffic, crime, family relations, cleanliness. Besides 2 malls, there is nothing to do really. No tourism, no (outdoors)...

Found them as well. But is seems there's a shortage of housing in Tarapoto and the offerings found online are quite steep. Most RE is sold through the informal network locally. So was hoping for some contacts.
