Yesterday, I had a lengthy talk with the home office of Bank of America (my bank). They told me the reason my ATM withdrawals were denied was that I used the wrong password. Slippin' Jimmy offered a great report on the weather in Oxapampa.
It shows the humidity levels are rarely (if ever) in the 90% range.
You have to realize this is the "high jungle" and most of us are not used to this type of weather
