Re: What is your favorite store-bought coffee?

I have tried Cafetal and Altanayo regular and it is just coffee at a fair price. However, about 6 months ago I tried Cafetal Americano in the red and gold bag. It is the best coffee I have found in Peru. Just my opinion. It costs about S/. 30 per 500 g but I like it so much that I am willing to pay ...

Re: Problems with CLARO again. Never ending story.

We have had constant problems with Claro's internet. I bought a program that monitors internet uptime. It cost $9.95 but it checks your internet connection every 5 seconds and if it drops it makes a record of it. When Claro comes out to fix our internet (about 6 times a year) I show them the record....

Re: I want to buy a Panasonic Lumix FZ 200 camera

It is worth consideration to buy locally given that duty, taxes, shipping and so on come close to the price offered here. Also, buying here allows for warranty work locally if needed. The latter is perhaps not so important. In my life time I have only had to send a camera for warranty work once and ...

Re: I want to buy a Panasonic Lumix FZ 200 camera

Well, I have a Lumix DMC-TS3 that I love. No moving parts on the outside, waterproof to 33 feet, GPS, ant-shock, stability, altimeter, compass, dust proof and it fits in my pocket. It sold in Lima for about S/.1500 and I bought in in the US for $249. The Z200 has a 24X zoom and constant f2.8 aperatu...

I found a recipe for making Starbuck's Frappuccino at home that claims it is identical. The secret ingredient is xanthan gum or pectin. Tell me where to buy this and I will share the recipe. The made-at-home version is identical but costs about $0.32 per Grande size serving.

Another reason they don't want tp in the sewer system is that, as of now, only 25% of the sewerage gets treated before it is sent to the ocean. Yes, raw sewerage is dumped daily into the ocean.
