That is curious. In terms of world production, Peru at 95 tons, does not even rate in the top ten world wide producers. #10 , on the list produces nearly three times as much as Peru, curious. Never looked at Metro or whatever, not a berry eater but In Lima I have never seen any berries of any kind....

A friend told me you do not need a drivers license if your personal car is a- moto. Doesn't make sense but who knows what the laws are in Peru. Best wishes & stay safe. He was probably referring to electric scooters, and the motorized bicycles. If you are riding a motorcycle, you need a license.

I think a lot of homes are characterized as adobe, when in fact they are quincha.

Ask the company for their RUC number. This is the number that identifies them to the tax authority here, the SUNAT. Then, google the number to see if it pops up anywhere. Nope. They mean a routing number, which in fact is part of the series of numbers that appears on your US checks.

Intersting about the use of the CCI number. We use that one all the time to make local transfers between banks, but i didn't realize it was also used to international transfers.

Very strange! It's the first time I have heard that. The whole purpose of the carnet is to give the holder the ability to be a legal agent within the country. Why would they turn away the business? Could it be that both reps were misinformed?
