I got a letter from Movistar say they're increasing the speed from 20 to 40 mbps in my area for only 10 soles extra a month. Hmm, over by me the cost of jumping from 20 to 40 Mbps is almost double (I think it was a 90% increase when I calculated it). Maybe I should check if the prices have changed....

Wow, that seems expensive, but it may be due to smaller transfer amounts.

I do a wire transfer once a month of anywhere from $6K - $9K depending on expenses. The $60 fee ($40 from my bank in US + $20 from the bank here) is the same in any case, so it works out to 1% or less.
