Why would you need to be rushed back to the US ? They do have hospitals in Peru. Keep in mind most countries other than the US actually have better healthcare.

OP, thats not true, your being messed with, and quite obviously. I have had several friends here get their license, the actual driving course isnt super easy, but you can get your license. It may require paying someone off, which is how a couple of them were able to obtain it. Just the way it is.

No, not if its yours. Better if its not in its original packaging. I bring things in and out of countries all the time im supposed to pay duties or taxes on, I never do.

You can withdraw s/700 out of a BCP machine, then just change it on the street. Aint much more but it is a little bit. Yea a lot of words fall out of chi chis mouth but most are better left on the ground since they dont mean much.

Yea, im not too worried about the keyboard being different, its fine, and im used to that. I havent bought the computer yet ( i just need to buy a new one very soon) it will probably be windows 8 (unfortunately) haha

My rent is slightly less than $100 per month, everything included, I typically spend about 10 soles per day for food. Sometimes I eat free though. And thats it - I dont have other expenses - Those are necessities, now, when I go out for fun and whatnot, sure, I spend a little more, but necessities ...

You said - basic, minimum, s200 per week, that is s800 per month, minimum wage is s750, so yea, its about the same.
You do not need a degree to make more, Ive made much much more with several jobs around Lima, and I dont have a degree, and my current job pays even more than those Ive had around here.

I have had apartments that cost $1500 per month, and now I live in one that cost $100 per month, all in safe and upscale neighborhoods... It just comes with time...

Yea, I have been an active user on mercadolibre for quite some time, I find it no better than the shops in Lima. I use it for selling more than buying, but most on there are shops putting up their own phones. Thanks anyway

Dosent matter, the payment into your account would be automatically converted. Even if you did have an account here, transferring is not a big deal. People do this for a living, and with much more money.

I have been to Oxapampa, I do like it... but, I get the sense they are a little more lazy there... restaurants and shops open and close as they please... I dont know, but I definitely want to be next to or basically on a decent size to big water source.
