Bus from Trujillo to Chachapoyas.

I'm planning a trip to Huaraz, Trujillo and Chachapoyas in December and I was wondering if anyone knew of any buses from Trujillo all the way up to Chachapoyas?

Hi. It is a new rule indeed. I checked the UK Border Agency site but there wasn't one in Peru. The nearest one was in Santiago in Chile :S

I had to go through an agency as well to come to the UK to do volunteer work. And of course, I had to pay them an X amount of money. They agency helped me with all the paperwork, though.

Thank you for your comments. It still beats me why some people prefer to live in Lima, but as the saying goes, different strokes for different folks. 6 month rule is for foreigners, as a foreigner gets an up to 6 months tourist visa on arrival, so they want a passport valid for its duration.


Does the same rule apply in the UK? Will they want to see that my passport is valid for at least 6 months before I return to Peru? That's what worries me.

According to my Peruvian girlfriend, If you renew your passport, you don't have to wait nor do you get a new passport number. They just give you the sticker as mentioned. Well, my passport will not expire until after 2 months of leaving the UK, but I'll give the Embassy a call to find out.

In the end, passports are renewable, and so I could just renew my passport in the UK even though it won't expire until after 2 months of my departure.
